New Music: Dolly Style – Sunrise
Dolly Style comes through with a brand new smashing hot and dope single track entitled “Sunrise“. Dolly Style began its tour “Dolly Style Circus Tour” April 21 in Halmstad. The tour means that they play in Brazil Jack’s circus tent, as a separate event separate from the actual circus performance. When the UNT talks to the Dolly Style member Polly, they have just finished their first gigs in the different environment. – It’s special. We get closer to the audience, we have them all around the scene, Polly says. The show itself is not so much affected by the environment. Choreographies have been changed, but the content is similar. And after the gigs, Dolly Style stops to meet the fans. – We are still there until the last person who wants to meet us has met us. Polly is Dolly Style’s freshest member and joined the band in 2018. The fans’ devotion delighted her. Dolly Style is not just about pop, according to Polly, but also about raising issues that are important to the young audience. – We are peeping and talking openly about, for example, bullying and exclusion, about being nice as you are. Many really show their appreciation for it. We feel that we can make a difference and that gives everything meaning. Last winter, Dolly Style participated in the Melodifestivalen, with the song “Habibi”, which however did not go to the final. If you think Polly did it nothing. – We got to release the song and it has gone great. Sure, it would have been fun to win, but it didn’t matter that we didn’t, we had so much else going on.
