Beloved filmmaker John Singleton sadly passed away last month, leaving fans, friends and family members with broken hearts. John passed at the age of 51 after suffering a stroke that put in a coma where he was then taken off life support.  We’ve rounded up some of the tributes made by the hip hop community and it’s now been announced that May 21st will be John Singleton Day in Los Angeles.
