Burns, A$ap Rocky & Sabrina Claudio comes through with a brand new smashing hot and dope single track entitled “Energy“. British producer BURNS has enlisted Miami-based singer Sabrina Claudio and A$AP Rocky for “Energy,” his new single. The house-pop features lusty back-and-forth singing from both Claudio and Rocky, and you can hear it above.
It’s the latest in a string of features and guest appearances from Rocky. He appeared onstage with Tame Impala during their Coachella set, popped up in Blood Orange’s “Hope” video with Diddy and Tyler The Creator, and has been featured on songs by Comethazine and Mike WiLL Made-It. He also has a song with Joey Bada$$ called “Too Many Gods” on the Game of Thrones soundtrack album. During an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, BURNS revealed how the track came together. “It was a beat that I made maybe a year ago,” said the British producer. “When I made it, I knew that it was something kind of special. It was in that house-y world, but it also had this urban feel to it too, and I wanted to do something crazy with the feature on there. I knew that it needed something very special to kind of bring it to life, and to bring it into this… I guess, it’s the American climate. I feel like we’re ready to dance now.”

Added Sabrina, “We would like to say we’re honored to have A$AP singing for the first time on our song. It’s super amazing…I was just so excited about it because I don’t normally write to dance, house music, but I was like, ‘Oh, I like this one.’”

Sabrina, who released her latest project No Rain, No Flowers in August, is now working on a new album. “I’ve been writing for about six months on my own stuff,” she revealed. “Definitely some sort of project album is in the works. But also a lot of collaborations. This is the kind of song(s) you wouldn’t want to miss on your playlist.
