Matt Martians comes through with a brand new smashing hot and dope studio album, packed with 8 amazing and solid tracks entitled “The Last Party“. Following the success of Hive Mind, members of The Internet have once more resorted to their solo projects to keep their creative outputs afloat. With Steve Lacy leading the way with his recent “N Side” single, Matt Martians now follows behind with his own effort, sharing “Knock Knock” and announcing a pending full-length project.

A founding member of The Internet and Odd Future, Martians’ upcoming The Last Party project will be his second solo outing and is set to feature Lacy, Baby Rose and Daisy while production credits arrive via Martians, Lacy, Fade Em’ All, as well as Dreamboy Oscar and Omar Apollo, both of whom produce “Knock Knock.”

The Last Party currently boasts a pending release date of April 26th and if “Knock Knock” is any indication, it’s sure to be a favorable delivery. Earlier this month, The Internet teased that two of its members had solo projects in the pipeline. We’ve already got a new track from Steve Lacy, and today, Matt Martians is coming through with his own. “Knock Knock,” which features production from Omar Apollo and Dreamboy Oscar, is the first track from his new album The Last Party.
It’s due out next Friday, April 26, and boasts appearances from Mac DeMarco, Steve Lacy, Baby Rose and Patrick Paige II. Martians’ last album, The Drum Chord Theory, dropped back in 2017. This is the kind of song(s) you wouldn’t want to miss on your playlist.
